REQUIREMENTS:

– Open and flexible availability including weekends

– Be comfortable working shifts by yourself

– NYC Food Handlers Permit (or willing to obtain one shortly after hire)

– Minimum 1+ years experience in specialty coffee

RESPONSIBILITIES:

– Welcome all customers with warm hospitality

– Maintain quality standards and work within parameters set by our Lead Barista

– Maintain work area and equipment to a high degree of cleanliness

– Develop strong working relationships with the team

– Proven ability to multitask and prioritize

NICE TO HAVES:

– Basic latte art skills

– Ability to speak Mandarin/Cantonese

– Ability to dial in espresso and filter coffee

– An enthusiastic love of coffee

– Interest in coffee roasting

Artbean Coffee Roasters is looking for awesome people who just so
happen to be baristas and those that have a strong desire to learn and
grow in the specialty coffee space. We’re located on Doyers street in
the heart of Chinatown right next to Nom Wah Tea Parlor, Apotheke and
Chinese Tuxedo where you’ll serve many locals and tourists alike. We are
a 200sq/ft takeaway shop and have an open concept that welcomes
passersby as they can’t walk by without seeing the art exhibition space
or smelling the wonderful scents of our freshly roasted coffee.
